Tradisjonen tru overlet han orkesteret sitt til sonen Marko då han fylte 18 år i 2006, og no står dei to blåsarvirtuosane saman på scena, der dei nyt den kraftfulle og energiske virvelvinden av dei svingande rytmane frå blåserekka bak.
Boban i Marko Markovic Orkestar serverer livleg og medrivande balkanmusikk som bokstaveleg tala vil gje deg bakoversveis! Musikken deira blir spelt på alt frå lokale bygdefestar til dei hippaste klubbane i Sentral-Europa, og orkesteret har gjeve ut fem kritikarroste album med reinspikka brass.

Boban Markovic is the undisputed king of Balkan brass music, and led the orchestra until he, true to tradition, stepped down to let his son take the helm at the age of 18. Presently, the two trumpet virtuosos take to the stage together, and enjoy the powerful and energetic whirlwind whipped up by the horns supporting them. The ensemble’s music is featured at such diametrically opposites as local village feasts and hip Central-European clubs.
